My First Thanksgiving

How embarrassing was that!?  My brother threw up in the car while we were getting to the location where our Thanksgiving dinner was held.  Whatever the reason was, he better stop throwing up, or I will not go out with him in the future.  I was totally lucky this time that his semi-digested, warm-ed, cheese and yogurt did not get onto my dress.  Otherwise, he would have to buy me another dress, for sure, in the middle of the Thanksgiving evening.  This is totally not my idea of celebrating my first Thanksgiving!

Anyway, back to the real topic of the evening.  Thanksgiving!  I’ve heard that all you do on Thanksgiving is eat, eat, and eat.  Well, not for me.  Even though it’s Thanksgiving, I’m still sucking on the same old bottle, with the same old infant formula.  The good thing is, Mommy and Daddy did get to eat… for a bit.

The whole evening was kind of boring for me.  Watching Addison running around the backyard wasn’t exactly fun on my part.  Fortunately, there was Aunt Annie there who pretty much played with me for as long as I was there.

Here are some pictures taken from the evening.

My 4-Month Check-up

No!  I didn’t post the wrong video.  I knew it was a video from my brother Addison’s 4-month check-up.  The point I’m trying to make here is… noticed all the attentions that he received?  The blanket to cover him… Daddy talking to him… and as soon as he made an attempt to cry… the whole world paused.

Now, take a look at how my 4-month check-up went.

No blanket... Daddy was not holding me... and of course, I was trying to be a good girl, and didn't make a sound. But somehow, it was Addison who was crying!  What’s going on here?  I thought I’m the girl here, and I’m the one who needs the most attention.

Sadly, here’s the painful part where I had to take a few shots to my thigh.  I cried only because I was worried that there will be scare on my thigh.  Not because of the pain, of course, as you can tell.

I’m Teething

My gums are sore and itchy all the time, yet Daddy seems to have a problem with me putting my fingers into my mouth.  Not only that, he seemed to feel there was a need to video tape me… suffering.  Why?  Grow up, you people!  This is not funny!

The Making of a Christmas Card Photo

DSC_3736Edited2009

Folks, what you see here is the picture chosen for this year’s Christmas Card.  However, I want to stress that I am not the person who is responsible for the mailing list.  So if you do not receive a copy of our family’s Christmas Card, please check with Daddy and/or Mommy.

So what happened today is that Daddy’s work place is holding its annual Christmas party.  So Mommy and Daddy thought that it would be fun to bring the family to this place to take some pictures.  Not knowing where I was going, I really didn’t know what to expect.  But once I got there, I was presently surprised.  This place is beautiful!  There were lights and Christmas Trees every where.  Not only that, there was a Princess there!  Unfortunately, the Princess decided not to keep my Brother for the night, and kindly returned him to Daddy after taking a few pictures with him

Here are a few more pictures taken from the evening.

Cool Hats!

Look what’s on my head!  Mommy said in a few months, I will understand a bit more more about the cap that I had on in the first few pictures below.

The cap that I had on in the last few pictures, was a hand-made gift from a friend of Daddy, who is also a computer programmer.  Daddy said this programmer works in the middle of nowhere, underneath feet of snow, and the software programs that she wrote are so good that Daddy doesn’t even have to test her programs before putting the program into use.  Daddy also told me that the UPS driver always walk into her house in the afternoon, without her husband knowing.  Whoever you are, thank you very much for the hat!

Happy Birthday, Brother!

Today is my brother’s 2-year old birthday.  It is a big deal because he thinks it’s a big deal.  Which is all that matters, right?  No, I didn’t get to open any present today as all presents were for him.  That’s fine!  Instead, I spent the observing his little birthday party celebration, and tried to plan out my next birthday party so that I know for sure that my party will be bigger and better than his party today!

Let’s start with a video of Grandma trying to cheer me up, hoping that I wouldn’t realize that all the gifts that we brought over were for Addison.

Fast forward to the evening, here’s a video of Grandma trying to cheer me up, once again, after I found out that I was not going to be taking part in the cake tasting ceremony!

Moments later, Grandma decided to pull me away from all the actions because the scene of Addison having so much fun blowing off his 2 candles was just too much for me to take.

Yup, that’s my day!  Rather non-eventful, right?  It’s okay!  It’s not my birthday.  Wait till you see how Addison reacts to my Birthday party next year!  Until then, you can find out more about his birthday party from his website here.

My First Halloween!

I don’t understand… instead of giving away the candies that you bought for the trick-or-treat-ers, why not just keep the candies to yourself, so that you don’t have to go out at night to knock on stranger’s door to beg for candies?

Apparently, my parents did get that concept and insisted on bringing Addison out to trick-or-treat.  Did I get to stay home and rest instead?  No!  Why do I even have to go when I don’t get to eat any candy?  And you want me to wear what?

Yup, that’s what they made me wear on my first ever Halloween!  Can you believe that?  I don’t want to spend too much time talking about what else had happened when we were out trick-or-treating.  You can read all about it on Addison’s blog here.  This video below is taken when THEY are done with trick-or-treating.  Can’t you tell that I was so glad to be home, at last?
